About the machine:
Offered is a Ziersch ZT 24 surface grinding machine with Z Control. This universal surface grinding machine is in very good, original condition. It comes from a company where it was only used for training purposes. It features a very easy-to-use control system. A grinding travel of 600 mm in the longitudinal axis and a transverse travel of 220 mm make it suitable for toolmaking, jig and fixture construction, and small-series production. A comprehensive basic equipment and the simple operation of the machine characterize this series. The stable design of the spindle head and the guide system with double V-guides in the longitudinal and transverse axes guarantee lasting precision. The intuitive operation of the controls simplifies operation and significantly increases productivity. The guides are regularly lubricated by the central lubrication system. The Ziersch has been mechanically and electrically inspected by us. Take advantage of the opportunity to inspect and test the Ziersch on-site while it is powered.
CONTROL SYSTEM
Easy-to-use Z-Control with high comfort. Possibility of manual grinding with the door open. Fully automatic grinding cycle with dressing cycles. Grinding cycles: surface grinding, multi-pass plunge grinding, and slot grinding of up to 20 grooves. Grinding modes: roughing, finishing, and spark-out. Dressing cycles divided into roughing and finishing. Automatic vertical feed with compensation of the dressing allowance. Warm-up and night shutdown programs.
OPERATION
Simple and intuitive operation via a large, clear touchscreen. Electronic handwheel, effective on the Y and Z axes, switchable in two stages to 0.001 and 0.01 mm.
CASTING/HOUSING
Stable cast design of all machine components. High machine weight for maximum rigidity. Partial enclosure of the machine with a sliding door and a front-mounted service door; effective splash protection with good accessibility.
LINEAR GUIDES
Pre-tensioned linear guides in the Y and Z axes (Bosch Rexroth) for excellent precision.
SLIDING GUIDES
Excellent damping properties and high surface quality thanks to hand-scraped double-V sliding guides in the X-axis.
LUBRICATION SYSTEM
Automatic central lubrication in the X-axis (sliding guide oil) and in the Y and Z axes (grease).
