Function:
The input material is drawn in by two slowly counter-rotating shafts (resulting in dust- and noise-free operation), onto which cutter discs are mounted. This process is monitored by an intelligent and innovative PLC control system. In the event of overload or the presence of foreign objects in the cutting unit, the control system reverses the direction of rotation. The precise cutting gap between the discs enables energy-efficient shredding of the material. The attached scraper comb prevents material from wrapping around or being pulled up into the cutters. The width of the cutters and the number of cutting edges determine the output particle size.

Possible applications:
Thanks to its robust construction and design for long service life, this machine can shred, economically, not only special waste, metal chips, electronic scrap, and steel drums, but also all kinds of containers filled with liquids.
