The material is packed in a way that allows for easy unloading.

When installed outdoors, the load capacities are reduced by the wind and snow load.
The subsoil must be made of concrete, level and suitable for dowels, and must be able to absorb the acting loads. The customer must check and ensure the ground conditions, load-bearing capacity, and any required official permits.

The racking uprights must be anchored in the ground on site; anchoring to the wall is not necessary and is not recommended.
According to the occupational health and safety association, it is recommended that the racking uprights have a minimum overhang of 500 mm to the top edge of the upright on the uppermost storage level.
