Safan press brakes are reputable sheet metal working machines from the Dutch manufacturer, well recognized in the market.

The SAFAN E-Brake series is equipped with electric drives, which have been successfully implemented in our machines for almost 30 years. Currently, the largest model of electrically driven presses is available with a capacity of up to 300 tons and features a patented design by the manufacturer.

Lenze motors and servomotors, controlled by long-life inverters, enable fast and reliable operation of the system for many thousands of operating hours. Thanks to its innovative drive, the machine uses electrical energy primarily during the downward movement of the ram and the bending process. The return of the ram is achieved by the force of springs mounted on both sides of the machine. Additionally, during idle periods, the machine consumes virtually no electricity, as the system does not include a hydraulic pump motor maintaining pressure, as is the case with hydraulic presses.

Energy consumption is estimated to be up to 70% lower compared to conventional hydraulic presses. Furthermore, the electric drive is insensitive to temperature fluctuations that may occur in production halls.

The machine performs excellently in both long and short production runs.
