• The spindle was repaired in 2017 and since then has mainly been operated in single-shift mode. As we primarily produce individual parts and small batches, the machine has spent most of its time being set up rather than running

Known defects:
Rapid traverse speed on the X-axis has been reduced by 20% to extend the life of the telescopic covers.
Seal ring on the pallet changer is likely defective, resulting in oil leakage. As a temporary fix, we have installed a ball valve in between; whenever a pallet change is required, the valve is opened. This doesn’t happen very often.
