Matsuura Lumex Avance-25 – Hybrid Additive Manufacturing System (used)
For sale is a Matsuura Hybrid Additive Manufacturing System, Lumex Avance-25. This system combines additive manufacturing (sintering) and subsequent machining (milling) in a single process. As such, the system is particularly suitable for applications where functional surfaces or precise geometries are to be machined directly after the build.
The system is designed as an open system: build parameters can be adjusted and further developed at the user’s discretion and based on their own experience. This also makes it ideal for research purposes and for the development of new material and process parameters. The Lumex Avance-25 is configured for titanium; the air filter and extraction system are explosion-proof for powder handling.
The following powder types can be used:
Martensitic steel II (1.2709)
Stainless steel 630
Stainless steel 316L
Cobalt chrome
Nickel alloy 718 (Inconel 718)
Aluminum Si10Mg
Titanium 6Al4V (with corresponding shielding gas supply)
It is possible to build with other materials or powder types if the build parameters are appropriately determined.
