FOGG 18/5

The Fogg Monoblock Filler is a type of packaging machine designed for filling and capping bottles, typically used in industries like beverages, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics. Here’s a brief description:

Features:

- Monoblock Design: Combines filling and capping processes in a single machine, enhancing efficiency and reducing the footprint on the production line.
- Suitable for 38mm Caps: Specifically designed to accommodate 38mm diameter caps, which are commonly used in various bottle types.
- Filling Mechanism: Utilizes a volumetric or gravimetric filling system to ensure accurate liquid filling, essential for maintaining product integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Speed and Efficiency: Capable of high-speed filling and capping, improving overall production throughput.
- Versatile: Can handle various liquid types, from water to thicker, more viscous products depending on configuration.

Applications:

- Commonly used in the beverage industry for filling soft drinks, juices, and other liquids.
- Suitable for pharmaceutical products requiring strict filling standards.
- Used in cosmetics for lotions, shampoos, and other liquid products.

Benefits:

- Streamlined production process reduces handling and transfer times.
- Improved accuracy in filling minimizes spillage and product waste.
- Enhanced product shelf life due to airtight sealing.

Dawson Debagger, which is suitable for

250ml bottles. We used to use the NAMPAK type (50mm x 50mm square), and 2

bags would fit width ways. A total of 6 bags could go on the bed at any one

time, meaning a capacity of approximately 1500 bottles.

We added a special air operated "gate" to the end where the dogchain is,

which was for using PET bottles. As the PET bottles were smooth, they tended

to stick together - so the function of the gate was to separate the row of

bottles that was about to be swept by the dogchain from the rest of the

bottles on the bed,. It worked very well, so we also used it for the HDPE

bottles.

The overall length is around 4.5m, and the width of the bed is I think

1200mm, with the widest part of the machine at about 1.8m. It runs on single

phase power (16a, blue plug or hard wired) and has a variable bed speed

setting.
