SARG-2500–Automatic Mesh welding machine

The VARO SARG-2500 is an automatic line designed for the production of welded wire mesh for fencing applications, equipped with medium-frequency welding technology.

The machine is designed to process mesh panels up to 2,500 x 2,500 mm, using longitudinal and cross wires with diameters ranging from 3.0 to 8.0 mm. The minimum adjustable pitch is 30 mm for longitudinal wires and 10 mm for cross wires.

The welding system consists of 12 welding heads with double-stage pneumatic cylinders and 2 TECNA 250 kVA welding transformers, controlled by inverters. The production speed specified in the technical documentation is 70–90 welds/min.

The line includes automatic loading of the longitudinal wires, an electronically controlled pushing system for feeding the wires into the welding station, and an automatic system for loading the upper and lower cross wires. Mesh advancement is electronically controlled by a brushless motor, with adjustable mechanical grippers.

After welding, an electronically controlled carriage transfers the mesh to the next processing stage. The system is equipped with two hydraulic side trimming units for cutting the protruding wire ends.

The line also includes a bending station with an hydraulic press, needed for the 3D panels. After bending, the finished mesh is automatically transferred to the unloading station and deposited onto a supporting table or pallet.

Machine operation is managed through a dedicated electrical control cabinet with Siemens S7 PLC, PC and operator panel for setting and controlling the production cycle parameters.
