This listing is for the Stuart Scientific SM1 Magnetic Stirrer

The unit is not at it's best aesthetically and that is reflected in our pricing, it is however in full working condition and is ready for immediate release.

The Stuart Scientific SM1 Magnetic Stirrer is a laboratory bench-top device designed to mix liquids uniformly using a rotating magnetic field. It’s a basic analogue magnetic stirrer often found in educational, research, and routine laboratory settings for mixing solutions, suspensions, or samples without heating

The SM1 is suitable for everyday laboratory mixing tasks such as:

Mixing aqueous solutions, buffers, and reagents.

Suspension of particulates or cells.

Routine solution preparation and titration support.

Because it lacks a heating element, it’s ideal where temperature control isn’t needed, or when stirring only is required (e.g., during dissolving solids into liquids).
