ROSSI & CATELLI vacuum thermo-physical peeler with a feeder, designed for the continuous industrial peeling of fruits and vegetables through thermal treatment and subsequent vacuum application.

This is a very high-capacity system, suitable for up to 60 tons/hour, designed for large processing lines where it is necessary to automate the feeding, thermal treatment, and peeling process while maintaining a continuous flow of product.

The system combines a feeder, processing chamber, vacuum system, pipes, valves, and access platforms, forming a complete unit ready to be integrated with the previous and subsequent stages of an industrial line.

PROCESS

The product is received in the lower area and transported via the inclined feeder to the upper feeding section.

Next, it enters the processing system, where a controlled thermal treatment of the surface is performed to facilitate the separation of the skin.

Subsequently, the product undergoes a rapid pressure change through vacuum, promoting the detachment of the skin from the pulp. After this operation, the product can be sent to subsequent systems for separating and removing the detached skins.
