Substructure: The substructure of the thread and profile rolling machine consists of welded steel profiles, partially covered with sheet metal. The space for the process lubricant reservoir is located in the front area of the substructure.

Main drive: The main drive generates the rotary motion of the rolling tools required for gear rolling. The drive motor is flanged to the base plate of the rolling spindle bearing via the Cyclo Drive gearbox. The rotary motion is transmitted to the rolling spindle via the Schmidt coupling.
The machine operates in a speed range of 0 to 30 rpm, with this range further subdivided into 0 to 20 rpm for continuous operation (S1) and 20 to 30 rpm for intermittent operation (S4). The speed is continuously adjustable using a frequency converter.
