Conical laboratory single-screw extruder EX 60/30

The extruder is designed for processing light, free-flowing granular materials.
Due to its screw size, the extruder is suitable for laboratory and testing applications.

The nitrided screw with a conical inlet section is fed with materials via a hopper, which then flow through the large inlet opening into the cylinder.
Subsequently, the raw materials are compressed in the cylindrical screw section and discharged through a die.
A direct drive with an upstream thrust bearing forms the drive train.
Ceramic heating bands also allow for high processing temperatures.
A shielding cooling system is installed between the material hopper and the first heating zone.

The strands are passed through a water bath with a stainless steel tank to the strand granulator.

A screen changer can also be offered as an option between the extruder and the die.
