Particle size analyzer for liquids, Malvern Mastersizer 2000 with Hydro 2000S module.
The Hydro 2000S module can circulate between 50 ml and 150 ml of liquid. Variable pump/mixer speeds allow for suspension and circulation of particles of varying sizes and densities, while the variable-power ultrasonic system enables the dispersion of particle agglomerates.
The Mastersizer 2000 measures particle sizes in the sample and displays their distribution on a computer graph. Measurement takes place as particles pass between the detector array and the laser.
