• The SOMA PLUTO is a slitter rewinder designed for processing paper, films and laminated materials. Optional web guiding system. • Slitting and Transport Section • Driven bowed roller, rubber-coated drive roller, razor blade holders with oscillation mechanism, grooved bottom knife shaft and optional rotary knife system. • Rewind Section • Two rewind shafts arranged vertically. Automatic rewind tension control. Pneumatically operated shaft supports. Friction rings and automatic nip pressure regulation. • Drives • AC motors controlled by frequency inverters. Main drive powers the transport roller, knife shaft and bowed roller.
