4.14.1 Basic Structure

The system is designed as a closed aluminum profile frame and has a very compact design.

The control cabinets are integrated into the lower part of the frame.

The main valve manifold is located behind a service door below the control panel.

The system includes four workstation stops.

Operation is via a touchscreen.

The control panel is mounted on the right side of the frame.

A Bluhm Weber labeling system is used in the station; the Bluhm Weber documentation applies accordingly.

4.14.2 Operational Sequence

- The incoming workpiece carriers with I/O modules are stopped, lifted (positioned), and contacted in substations 10.1 and 10.2.

In these two stations, the I/O modules are automatically labeled.

In substation 10.3, the I/O modules are automatically labeled. Label generation and content creation are automated, as is application to the devices.

- After labeling is complete, the module is finalized in station 10.4. For this, it is stopped, lifted, and contacted. Following finalization, the workpiece carrier is automatically ejected from the station.
