Löttner Pelletieranlage PA 15

Pelletizing plant for a wide range of materials such as wood, miscanthus, agricultural by-products and waste (hay, straw, corn stover, etc.), as well as feedstuffs.

This is a complete plant built on a base frame, consisting of the following components:
- Raw material hopper 4 m³ incl. agitator. This was extended by approx. 3–4 m³ with wooden panels.
- Intermediate screw conveyor to hammer mill
- Hammer mill 11 kW for size reduction of wood chips or other materials
- Inclined mixer for material homogenization, incl. moisture measurement, dosing, and level measurement
- Dosing hopper for pressing aids feeds into the inclined mixer

- Dosing screw conveyor for optimal material feed into the press (speed-controlled)
- Press 15 kW including full indicator, temperature monitoring and discharge chute
- Conveyor belt to dedusting screen
- Dedusting screen with material discharge at 3 m height

The plant is designed so it can be easily expanded with a second 15 kW press.

The entire system is centrally operated via Siemens PLC with touch display. All parameters are monitored so that the press will be shut down automatically in the event of a fault. The press can also be operated and monitored remotely from any PC.
