The machine was purchased second-hand in 2023, refurbished, and put into operation. The TNC 426 control unit was replaced, as well as the fan; spindle power was measured, the spring assembly was exchanged, and approximately 100 man-hours were invested. Subsequently, an accident occurred during the loading process, when the used milling machine fell off the forklift forks from a height of approximately 1,500 mm. The entire machine housing was severely deformed and twisted. Some of the enclosure doors were broken out. The sliding door to the working area was severely bent forward and no longer functional. The mounting bracket for the control unit was heavily deformed. The electrical components were almost completely torn from their fixings and were dangling from the cabling coming out of the control cabinet. The point of impact was in the top left area of the rear enclosure element. The material in this area was heavily abraded/scratched with black dirt deposits adhering to the enclosure. The upper cover of the working area had been ripped out of its mounting and was missing. All panel gaps of the housing showed significant irregularities. A louvered cover device inside the working area was torn from its mount, and the guide bar of the device was clearly bent downward. Further damages possible.
