Overview

Tunnel pasteurizer for the continuous thermal treatment of filled cans and bottles by water spray. The tunnel is built in a U-shape: infeed and outfeed sit on the same end of the machine, so the line returns to the operator side and the footprint stays compact at 6.2 m² of working area.

The treatment length is divided into eight zones – three heating zones, one pre-pasteurization zone, one pasteurization zone and three cooling zones – with energy recovery between the zones, so heat taken out of the cooling side is fed back into the heating side. Heating is by steam through a plate heat exchanger mounted on the side of the tunnel. Product enters at +10 °C, is held at +70 °C for 10 minutes in the pasteurization zone and leaves at +37 °C; the full cycle takes 41 minutes.

Tunnel body and electrical cabinet are built entirely in AISI 304 stainless steel. Control is by Siemens S7-1200 with a 12" Siemens HMI touch screen showing the full process mimic with zone temperatures. Year of manufacture 2025, new.
