Hartford HCMC-1682 Vertical Machining Center – Year 2017

The Hartford HCMC-1682 vertical machining center represents an ideal solution for medium and large-size mechanical machining operations that require high structural rigidity, reliability, and precision. Thanks to its robust construction and ISO 50 spindle, this machine is particularly suitable for roughing and finishing operations on steel, cast iron, and high-strength materials.

Equipped with a Hartrol Plus 1 (Mitsubishi) CNC control, the machining center offers generous travels of 1,600 x 820 x 820 mm, allowing the machining of large-size components with a weight of up to 2,200 kg on the table.

The two-range speed spindle, with a power of up to 18.5 kW and a maximum speed of 6,000 rpm, guarantees high chip removal performance and considerable torque at low speeds.

The machine is equipped with a 40-position automatic tool magazine, through-spindle high-pressure coolant, chip conveyor, and a dedicated spindle cooler, making it ready for intensive and continuous production.
