Construction and Technology

The CORMAK TORNADO 360 × 1000 PLUS features a heavy-duty cast iron bed that is induction-hardened and precision-ground for maximum rigidity, durability, and machining accuracy. The removable gap bed enables machining of larger-diameter workpieces when required.

The tool post accepts cutting tools up to 20 × 20 mm, allowing the use of a wide variety of professional tooling.

The drivetrain incorporates hardened and precision-ground gears, ensuring smooth power transmission, quiet operation, and extended service life. The spindle is supported by high-performance precision bearings, providing excellent rotational accuracy and stability under load.
