Application:
Compact filter for coolant, equipped with a roll of filter fleece for cleaning coolants in machining operations.
Self-contained cleaning unit, also in combination with chip conveyors, e.g. on machining centers, or as a local filter for several machine tools.
Also suitable for grinding machines.

Function:
Dirty liquid flows into the filter basin and, after passing through the filter fleece and support belt, flows into the clean tank.
The retained dirt particles build up a filter cake and increase the flow resistance – the level rises.
When a defined height is reached (via a float switch), the band drive is activated, bringing clean filter fleece onto the filter surface.

The flow rate increases, and the level of the dirty liquid decreases again.
The contaminated fleece ends up in a dirt and sludge container.
